it's actually my first time going to a party like this. my school didn't have dances, like the american ones do. [ and he learned everything he knows about proms from Grease. he's trying his best here. ]

responsibilities or not, you had to be loaded though. now i'm thinking of all the stuff i could buy with that kinda money ... [ she literally just said it's exhausting. but no, now he's distracted by fantasies of having nice clothes and shoes. ]
Realistically you wouldn't be spending that money. It would go into supporting the local towns and villages, paying your armies their due, making sure things run smoothly across the lands.
