[ It's a good thing that her friend isn't stuck here, but she's also all alone now and that's terrible. Josuke has his best friend to accompany him at least, even if, yeah, it's not a good thing that Okuyasu's trapped here too.
After a bit of a pause: ] you don't have to worry. i'll protect you while we're here. then you can go back and meet with your friend once we figure this place out.
[ It's said a little awkwardly, as if he knows it's incredibly cheesy and he's half-expecting her to laugh in his face (or, you know, through the screen). Like, who does he think he is? Some kinda hero? Josuke's being sincere though. He's made a few friends at this point and he wants to protect them at any cost. ]
That's very kind of you Josuke. But you don't need to worry for me. I'm learning to protect myself now too, as I wish I had long ago. I appreciate the thought though.
[ her father never approved of her wish to learn combat. the zora princess and the gerudo chief, both highly respected women in their domains, were trained for battle, but she was only told to pray. she knows that cannot continue. ]
I think I've talked enough about myself. What about you? I'm sure you must come from a lively place with your personality!
i come from a small town called 'morioh', in japan. you've probably never heard of it. it's a farming town where most people know each other. life's pretty quiet there in my town ...
until so many people started becoming Stand users, anyway.
no way, they definitely don't look like him. he's an original production. [ all stands look different but he's going to make crazy d sound special anyway!! ]
how your stand looks like and what it can do kinda depends on you ...? your personality, or whatever. [ so, having a big pink healy ghost should say a lot about josuke's personality. ]
can't exactly look like this if i don't hit the gym from time to time. [ he is vain. and also, he does like pink!! ]
oh, i don't really know about that. it's not like i go outta my way to meddle with people's problems, but if someone's hurt or they need help, i wanna do something, y'know? i think it's only natural.
It should be natural. Sometimes it isn't. To extend out to others and help them isn't easy when you have your own problems to worry about. You shouldn't undervalue your efforts so quickly.
[ she's so nice to him ... it always makes him both happy and awkward. ]
lucky for me i'm a pretty carefree guy. my life back home's pretty peaceful. there was a stretch of time we had to search for this guy -- this real piece of work -- but we got him. everything went back to normal after that.
honestly, most of the town didn't even know they were in danger. that guy, he managed to go under the radar for 15 years. he was really good at destroying the evidence. the bodies, that is ...
i'm just glad we busted him before Mr. F decided to dump me here. can't imagine leaving my mom in a town where a serial killer's on the loose. [ Mr. F is, of course, what Okuyasu calls whoever's in charge of this place, for some reason. Josuke just picked it up. ]
How horrifying. That a man could do such terrible evil to others. I suppose we never really know what darkness can lurk in people's hearts. Such things lead them astray and hurt others without regard.
My hope is that this #FFFFFF is nothing of a similar sort.
honestly, i can't tell at this point. are we here to reanimate the town, or are we gonna end up like all the townspeople who supposedly once lived here? if only there was a way to find this guy.
I want to believe the former is true. And if we fail, it could be the latter is our end. There were people here, once, that much is certain. But with no trace of their presence, I fear the worst.
I pray they are not dead. But I cannot shy away from the worst realities probable. But that there seem to be no bones or grave marks are a sign of something.

[ nothing new for her though. ]

But you mention Stands - like your Crazy Diamond, as I recall? So there are more large pink spirits who populate your town?

[ this is what she's taking from this, but also- ]
That joke aside, I think the power must speak a lot to your personality too, right? Do you think of yourself as a fixer?
